In the first place, we have to straight away ask you for some (more) patience…we have been wanting to refresh Samuel L Jackson website for sometime and we finally had the courage to go explosive. However, there are still some features that we are testing…

BUT, we think we have done a great job (pat on the back).

The refresh has been a direct result to several comments made by YOU GUYS…members of the SL.J Forum, who have basically said “IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE”…

The redesign is brand new. It uses the same technological platform, Joomla!, as the previous site, only now, we are using Joomla! 1.5, which offers amazing creative possibilities, much better security, together with quite a lot of potential for additional modules and components. Some of these have only been launched in BETA at the moment, but they seem stable enough, so we are keeping SL.J (who is always at the forefront of trends) also at the technological cutting edge.

You will find that the main changes are in FILMOGRAPHY. We are trying to load as much information and images of each of SL.J’s film, where the movie trailer  and other stuff can also be seen. It's a real task and one which you may want to help. If you see images you would like us to add to a particular film gallery, send us the link and we will do the rest.

The other area we are going to develop (a lot) more is around the Forum and Live Chats. You will notice a big change there already. However, we can look forward to more soon. Our Tec Geek is testing the integration of registration and Forum, which will be able to deliver more ideas on more up-to-date themes on the front page.

More importantly, we will count on LIVE CHATS with SAMUEL L. JACKSON HIMSELF. The idea is to let you all know when Sam will be online, so that you can come and spend some time with THE MAN…

We are even looking at the possibility of posting podcast interviews with Sam for later this year...now THAT will be very cool...

So, as you can see, there are loads of changes happening. We want you to tell us what you think, suggest any changes you would like to see, tell us what we are doing good…and even not so good (be gentle ok..) We want to keep this dynamics going all the way…
